Description
We are looking for dynamic and experienced Team Managers to lead our Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams, driving excellence and innovation in safeguarding children across Lewisham.

About the Role:
We are recruiting Team Managers to lead our newly established Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams (CPT) and Adolescent Protection Teams (APT) within the Family Help and Care and Families, Quality and Commissioning divisions.
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of child protection practice and reform, leading small teams of skilled Lead Child Protection Practitioners, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children at risk from intra-familial and extra-familial harm, including exploitation and violence.
Enhanced DBS check required.
About You:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Extensive experience managing frontline child protection practice or supervising complex cases.
- Thorough understanding of Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023), Pan London Child Protection Procedures, and statutory guidance.
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and practice, including chairing child protection conferences and strategy meetings.
- Skilled in multi-agency working and building effective stakeholder relationships.
- Committed to the Signs of Safety practice framework and social work reform.
- Passionate about delivering excellent services to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Reflective, professionally curious, inclusive, and solution-focused leader.
